ELECNOR DEIMOS Satellite Systems , Puertollano (Spain)
The Head of the Electrical Engineering Division reports to the Director of DCM, and is a member of the Management Team. The postholder shall provide competent engineering support to ongoing and future DCM Programmes, be responsible for the management of activities, technical facilities and laboratories as well as technical competences of the Electrical Engineering Division, which covers Avionics Systems for satellites including payloads. Proactive coordination with other Divisions of DCM is essential. The objective is to optimise the efficiency and provide support where the competence of the Electrical Engineering Division can be brought to bear. ? Assist the Director of DCM, as a member of the Management Team, participating in the decision making process on all major activities covered by this Business Unit within ELECNOR DEIMOS
? Hold full technical responsibility over the following technical domains:
o Power systems covering engineering and technologies for power generation, energy storage, conversion and distribution;
o Electromagnetics covering engineering and technologies for antenna systems, Electromagnetic waves propagation, EMC and in-orbit spacecraft electrical environment and effects;
o Control systems covering engineering and technologies in the domains of Attitude and Orbit Control, Guidance and Navigation;
o On-board Data Systems covering engineering and technologies (including microelectronics) for data handling and processing;
o Radio Frequency (RF) Payload and Systems covering engineering and technologies of special payload/instruments (RF or microwave) required for Earth observation, Navigation, Communication and broadband access systems missions
? Take an active role in the selection, development and training of engineers with a view to create and maintain within DCM a high level of competence for the engineering disciplines above.
? Take an active role in interacting with Projects through technical reviews, ITT activities, in orbit performance reviews, development of lessons learnt, engineering documentation, standards and quality assurance.

| REQUISITOS TÉCNICOS |
|
| Experience in space programmes, knowledge of the internal operations of the European Space Agency or another similar organisation is required. Knowledge of the state of the art instruments, tools, techniques, methods and standards for the engineering disciplines under this responsibility. |

| OTROS REQUISITOS |
|
| University degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline A minimum of five years of professional experience in relevant positions, together with a proven experience in space project management. Fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of other common European languages (French, German, Italian) shall be an asset. |

| CONDICIONES DESEABLES |
|
The Head of the Electrical Engineering Division should have proven leadership skills, the ability to understand and synthesise complex programmatic information, coupled with good interpersonal and communication capabilities and a proven ability to apply them to the interactions with DCM stakeholders.
Strong sense of ownership, commitment to service excellence and responsibility will be favourably considered.
